Staying in this unique bamboo house in the midst of Bali’s lush rice terraces is a completely unique experience. Wake up with the birds chirping in the morning and enjoy the incredible view over the quiet rice terraces from your bedroom. Our bamboo house is the perfect adventure for travelers wanting to escape the crowded cities and experience a slice of real Bali.
 
The Space

The Bamboo House is situated on the edge of a valley with stunning views over the rice terraces and the peak of Mount Agung in the distance.

On the ground floor the house has a large open space with a king bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom where you can shower under the open sky.

There’s a hammock to chill out and a big cuddle corner with pillows to relax. The ground floor also has a dining table as well as a bar table for breakfast or some work. The ground floor is completely open, with no doors – this is a very safe area and you’ve got nothing to worry about. Your local host Made is a resident of the nearby village and close with all the local farmers in the area and they are all very welcoming to guests coming to stay.

Upstairs is the private master bedroom with a separate bathroom (sink & toilet) – the house has a shared open shower on the ground floor. Upstairs you also have a separate terrace with lounge chairs and a hanging net to chill out and enjoy the rice terrace view.

The bamboo house sleeps 4 people comfortably with 1 king bed in the 2nd Floor Master Bedroom and 1 King Bed in the ground floor living area.

Guest Access

You have access to the entire house and it’s all yours, so make yourself comfortable.

Additional notes
The house is located in a secluded location of Bali, amidst nature. Because of this the place is very quiet and peaceful, but note that there are no shops, ATMs or mini-marts in walking distance. You can use the free motorcycle we provide to explore the surrounding, visit temples or waterfalls.
 
Living in a semi-open house amidst nature, guests may encounter insects, ants, small lizards, and mosquitoes. Our dedicated team does their best to keep the house clean and free of bugs, contributing to the authenticity of this nature experience. Our beds have mosquito nets, but if you get scared easily with insects or bugs, this is not the right place for you and we recommend to find somewhere else instead. We are after all in the middle of nature.
 
The villa is very private and secluded, but there is another small villa next door on the right which you can see on the pictures. The area inbetween the two villas is covered with plants to ensure privacy. We kindly request noise reduction after 10 PM to respect our neighbors.
 
Use the upper floor hanging net at your own risk. The total weight is limited to 2 people max and weight should never exceed 200kg. Never stand or jump on the net. For safety reasons, we always recommend to use hand and legs together when going over the net. Never sit on the rims of the net, for the risk of falling down.
 
As with all our properties, we ask guests to respect local laws and regulations. Sharing explicit or LGBT content on public platforms is discouraged due to local laws. Drone use is allowed between 8 AM and 9 AM with prior team permission, and not permitted outside these hours, ensuring privacy for all guests.
 
We provide a safety box for valuables for your peace of mind. Our neighborhood is safe, with your local host, Made, a resident of the nearby village. We maintain close relations with local farmers, always welcoming to our guests.
 
We offer a range of tours and activities, such as Rice Terrace Hiking, White Water Rafting, Canang Lessons, and more. Please inquire for availability and prices.
