Access & Safety: Due to the unique design and elevated locations of our houses (accessed by long sets of stairs), we cannot accommodate children under 12 or guests with physical disabilities for safety reasons.
Nature Experience: Living in semi-open houses surrounded by nature means you may encounter insects, ants, small lizards, geckos, mosquitoes, and sometimes snakes. If you are uncomfortable with open-air living or being close to nature, Camaya might not be the right fit, we kindly suggest considering a different style of accommodation.
Comfort Features: While we do not provide air conditioning, each house comes with fans and mosquito nets over the bed for your comfort. Thanks to Camaya’s valley location, temperatures are naturally cool and refreshing at night.
Privacy & Surroundings: Every house offers full privacy and uninterrupted views, though you may occasionally see local farmers in the distant rice fields.
Community & Respect: We kindly ask guests to reduce noise after 10 PM to preserve the tranquility of the valley. Drone use is allowed only between 8 AM and 9 AM with prior permission from our team.
Local Laws and Content Sharing: Out of respect for Indonesian laws, we kindly ask guests to avoid posting explicit or LGBT-related content publicly during their stay. Thank you for helping us respect local customs.
Security: A small safety box is provided in each house for your valuables. Our neighborhood is very safe, and your host Made, a resident of the nearby village, is always happy to assist.
Activities & Experiences: Relax and rejuvenate at our in-house Camaya Spa, a guest favorite. For those seeking adventures, we can help arrange Rice Terrace Hiking, White Water Rafting, and Silver Jewelry Making Classes.
