Constructed with expertise by local craftsmen, the Metangi Hill House showcases traditional techniques, with a beautiful blend of bamboo, wood, and stone. The semi-open structure on both levels optimizes the exquisite views over the rice fields.
The lower floor, accessible by a steep, railless ladder, serves as a lounge area during the day or as a second bedroom for two additional guests.
The house is perfect for 2 guests but can accommodate up to 4. It offers one king-sized bed with mosquito net in the upper floor master bedroom, providing direct access to the bathroom, and an extra king-sized bed with mosquito net in the lower floor open living area.
The house presents a unique design. Please note that due to the elevated position of the house, accessible via a small bridge walkway, and the steep ladder to the lower floor, we cannot accommodate children under 16 or guests with physical disabilities for safety reasons.
Please note, the bathroom is shared and only accessible through the upper floor master bedroom. Thus, while the house can accommodate four, it’s more comfortable for two.
Living amidst nature in a semi-open house, guests may encounter insects, ants, small lizards, and mosquitoes. Our diligent team does their utmost to keep the house clean and free of bugs, but it’s part of the unique experience of living in nature.
We’re nestled on a slope alongside other villas. While the house ensures complete privacy and unobstructed views, we kindly ask for noise reduction after 10 PM to respect our neighbors.
Our neighborhood is safe, and your local host, Made, is a resident of the nearby village. We maintain close relations with all local farmers, who are always welcoming to our guests. For your peace of mind, we provide a small safety box for valuables.

Drones are only allowed to be flown between 8AM and 9AM and only after prior permission from the team. Outside of this designated time, flying drones is not allowed under any circumstances to ensure the privacy for all guests staying with us.
