Our bamboo houses are very popular and usually booked 4 to 5 months in advance. If you don’t see availability on our website or platforms like Airbnb or Booking.com, it’s because we’re fully booked.

For last-minute availability, we announce cancellations or openings on our Instagram Highlights. Be sure to follow us there and stay updated!

No, we are not located in Ubud. You can find our exact location on Google Maps by searching “Camaya Bali.” or following this link.

We are about a 90-minute drive from Ubud, situated in Selat, Karangasem Regency, approximately 20 minutes from Sidemen.

Our houses are designed with an open concept, so bugs and insects are a natural part of the experience as we are nestled in the middle of nature.

Here are a few details about the environment:

  • There are fewer mosquitoes in our area compared to other parts of Bali, thanks to the fresh spring water in the valley, which mosquitoes don’t prefer as breeding grounds.
  • Mosquito nets are provided with all beds for your comfort.

That being said, you may encounter insects during your stay. If you are uncomfortable with bugs or the idea of being close to nature, we recommend considering other accommodations that are less exposed to the outdoors.

No, we do not have air conditioning. Our houses are designed to allow for natural airflow, and the climate in Selat is cooler than other parts of Bali due to the higher elevation.

  • At night, the temperature typically drops to a comfortable 22°C (72°F), making air conditioning unnecessary.
  • For additional comfort, all our units are equipped with fans to ensure sufficient air circulation.

There are no restaurants within walking distance, but we have an on-site restaurant, Camaya Terrace, located on the property.

Camaya Terrace offers a diverse menu of:

  • Homemade Balinese dishes
  • International favorites
  • Desserts
  • A selection of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options

We cater to various dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free preferences. Just let us know your requirements, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is open to both guests and the public. You can choose to enjoy your meals at the restaurant or have them delivered to the comfort of your room.

  • One-bedroom houses: Santai and Sayang

Please note that activities and transport are not included and must be booked separately.

Check In from 3pm and Check Out by 11am. You can view the times for each villas on their booking pages and they will also be shared with you again once you finalize your booking.

We are typically fully booked and thus unfortunately won’t be able to accommodate early check-ins or late check-out, as we want to make sure we have sufficient time to clean everything before your arrival.

Yes. Please contact us before hand with the departure location and we will provide you with our rate for your transport.

We do accept credit cards and cash payments at the property. If you plan to use cash, please note that there is no ATM machine nearby and we highly recommend to bring sufficient cash with you on your arrival.

All villas, the restaurant and the lobby have wifi available providing fast speed internet.
